Access to Recovery (ATR)

Access to Recovery is a four year discretionary grant program received by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration(SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT).  

ATR provides vouchers to clients for the purchase of substance abuse clinical treatment and recovery support services. The goals of the program are to expand capacity, support client choice, and increase the array of faith-based and community based providers for clinical treatment and recovery support services. ATR is specifically for residents of Cuyahoga, Lorain, Mahoning, Stark and Summit Counties who have had criminal justice system-involvement within the last five years. Adult participants are required to meet specific income guidelines.
